Underground home in the Swiss Alps

The design blog dornob recently shared pictures of a unique underground home in Switzerland.  It has some quite spectacular architecture.  I'm not so sure how eager I would be to move in, but it sure has an incredible view of the mountains.  Take a look at some of the pictures below, and check out dornob's blog entry.

A Renovated Home by Minarc

The New York Times recently did a photo shoot of the newly renovated home of the Oscar-nominated cinematographer Claudio Miranda (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).  Some of the house's new features include an expansive bathroom skylight and a storage-efficient headboard.  Check out the New York Times photo slideshow here.  And make sure to take a look at some of the other design work by the architecture firm, Minarc.

Apple building is not what you think...

Check out these building designs submitted for the 2010 World Expo. They are bananaaaas (or apples)!
And by the way, that last one is made of used CD Cases, whoever said the music industry is dying is clearly an idiot.

Confederate P120 Fighter Combat

Sure this has nothing to do with interior design, but what a beautiful bike... It belongs in Batman's lair, ooo wait he destroyed it in The Dark Night. Anyways, the guys at Confederate are doing a great job, just one comment, dont call your bike a Fighter Combat if I cant use it to shoot rockets. Check out Confederate's website and a similarly gutsy wall clock at our store.
